Lisa Marinacci dot com
This was the first show Lisa wrote both the music and script for,
currently still in rewrites, and being adapted for film.  The demo
recording was completed in New York City at Remke Studios,
and features Broadway performers from shows like
"Hairspray", "Mamma Mia", and "The Lion King". Click the
photo for information and to listen to songs from the show.
Lisa wrote and orchestrated several songs for a new
production of James and the Giant Peach, which opened
at
The Paliku Theater and then at The Hawaii Theater in
February 2007.  Directed by Kris Fitzgerald, the show was
Richard George's retelling of the classic children's story,
originally by Roald Dahl.  The clips below are a rough cut
of several songs including
James and the Giant Peach
(music and lyrics by Lisa Marinacci),
The Haughty
Aunties
(music by Lisa Marinacci, lyrics adapted by
Richard George),
The Old Man's Spell (music by Lisa
Marinacci, lyrics adapted by Richard George), and
The
Finest Foods
(music by Lisa Marinacci, lyrics adapted by
Richard George).
